Supplier Code of Conduct
The company’s standards of conduct.
Raymfield Uganda Limited expects every supplier, manufacturer, contractor and agent to meet these standards. We may ask for evidence, and we may end a relationship if they are not met.
1. Legal compliance
Follow all laws that apply to your business, your products and your exports, including licensing, tax and customs rules.
2. Integrity
- Do not offer or accept bribes, kickbacks or improper benefits.
- Disclose any relationship with our staff, or with a buyer's staff, that could create a conflict of interest.
- Do not collude with other suppliers on prices or bids.
3. Honest documentation
- Give accurate quotations, specifications, certificates and country-of-origin information.
- Do not supply counterfeit, misdescribed or unsafe goods.
- Tell us at once if a product, price or lead time will change.
4. Labour and human rights
- No child labour, forced labour or trafficking.
- Fair pay and reasonable working hours as the law requires.
- No discrimination, harassment or abuse.
- Freedom to leave employment and to raise concerns without penalty.
5. Health and safety
Provide a safe workplace and safe products, and tell us of any hazard associated with what you supply.
6. Environment
Comply with environmental law, manage waste responsibly and reduce environmental harm where you reasonably can.
7. Confidentiality
Keep our confidential information, and that of our clients, private and use it only for the contract.
8. Records and audit
Keep accurate records. Allow us, or a client or donor with a right to inspect, to verify compliance on reasonable notice.
9. Subcontractors
You are responsible for making sure your own suppliers and subcontractors meet this Code.
10. Raising concerns
Report suspected breaches using the routes on our Whistleblowing page.
11. Non-compliance
Breaches may lead to suspension, ending of the contract and removal from our supplier list.
